<jamsternumerouno> Yes, I've made a change in booking agencies and
I told them of my priority to reach the East where there are many fans
<Jim> do you have a favorite person that you would do a duet with?
<jamsternumerouno> If you ask me tomorrow I might have a different
answer, but Allison Krause comes first to mind
<jamsternumerouno> Her bro. victor played on album
<Jim> ok, now my final question is Do you prefer outdoor venues or
indoors or both equally?
> .
<Sandra> are we frozen??
<Bette> I think we lost jAm. Hang in there so he has time to sign back
in!
<Russ and Judy> He's looking up the answer
<Donna B> or jams answer was long and he self booted out
<Bette> That's a good one!
<Russ and Judy> Googling it
<Carolyn> no, he is doing his impression of Jack Benny
<Donna B> lol
<Sandra> maybe we should ask easier questions
<Sandra> :-))
<Bette> Or I'll tell him to shorten his answers
<Donna B> <'))))~
<Pat> Maybe he was still eating
<Bette> Show off

<jamsternumerouno> Hey sandra glad to be back
<Bette> Indoor or outdoor
<Jim> should I ask
<jamsternumerouno> i do find singing easier
<Bette> Where?
<jamsternumerouno> i love outdoors even if it means contending with

<jamsternumerouno> I get many requests from east coast
<Donna M.> Miranda's vocals sure enhance "If I Didn't Care." Did the
two of you get together in the studio to record? Have you ever
performed at the same show since the first season of NS ended?

<jamsternumerouno> is there a time limit on the response before cut off
[Tue Jul 20 21:18:06 EDT 2004] Donna M. has no profile.
<Bette> Go ahead Donna
<joyce clark> if you could tour with any one who would it be/
<Donna M.> whoops...guess my paste was too long... Did you see that
last question about jon randall?
<Bette> No
<jamsternumerouno> I'd love to tour with someone like randy travis
<Donna M.> ok... I will enter it on two separate lines
<jamsternumerouno> artist who share similar values
<jamsternumerouno> i miss randall q
<Donna M.> Jon Randall does background vocals on a few of the tracks
on LSN. Is this the same Jon who had this duet with former wife
Lorrie Morgan called "By My Side?"
<jamsternumerouno> Yes, same randall who just resigned with sony;
he did most of background vox
<jamsternumerouno> including amarillo by morn.
<Bette> Thanks Donna, Joyce you're on
<jamsternumerouno> let's re-Joyce
<joyce clark> would you consider a nashville move???
<Bette> O.K.
<jamsternumerouno> yes, but I've got to tie up some loose ends in
Texas
<jamsternumerouno> i'd probably eventually come back to Tx
<joyce clark> hard to leave the lone star state
<Bette> Donna, continue!
<jamsternumerouno> yep mam
<Bette> Sorry Joyce
<joyce clark> ok
<Donna M.> As a high school teacher of 26 years, I'd like to ask… What
do you miss most about teaching? What do you miss the least
<jamsternumerouno> seeing the light bulb click on in a child
<jamsternumerouno> taking them on the tennis court from a beginner to
a cham;
<jamsternumerouno> champ that is
<Bette> Donna, you there?
<jamsternumerouno> i love inspiring others and i can do that from the
stage too
[Tue Jul 20 21:23:34 EDT 2004] Kathy has no profile.
<Donna M.> As a big fan of both you and Buddy Jewell, I was wondering
if you've talked with him lately?
<jamsternumerouno> yes he just called me to say he was in area

<joyce clark> oh, thought i had used them when i got all messed up and

<jamsternumerouno> joyce my new booking agent books several fests
there but it takes several months to get on books
<joyce clark> what was the refrence to the new site --cynthia chebultz?
<jamsternumerouno> by the way my new agent is Nancy Fly of Nancy
Fly and Associates.

that you had gone to school in ohio, where in ohio
<jamsternumerouno> where are you from lynn i get confused
<Lynn> Ohio
<jamsternumerouno> chilicothe oh, actually massieville near there at
Recording Workshop
<jamsternumerouno> in the cold of Jan
<Lynn> o.k., I didn't catch that the first time I read it, but it did catch my
eye this time. I'm a bit north of there,
<jamsternumerouno> i loved every minute of it even the crazy chili and
spagetti places
<jamsternumerouno> i normally don't feel comfortable sending out
unedited text so excuse the typos
<Lynn> yep, we have a few here. Anyway, I wanted to ask about your
adventures in teaching, as I work with deaf students in high schools
<jamsternumerouno> how do you spell spagetti
<jamsternumerouno> that's very important work
<Lynn> what is your most funniest or most memorable moment
teaching high school?
> any way u want to spell it lol
<jamsternumerouno> when I taught every year I'd schedule match with
texas school for deaf
<jamsternumerouno> as to the funniest and most memorable let's see
<jamsternumerouno> as to the funniest it might have come when the
primary and elem. principals and i did a concert for kids
<jamsternumerouno> we were called Ed U. Kater
<Bette> Ding, Ding! Since Mary isn't here yet, let's go to Alice ... go
Alice!
<Alice> I just want to say how much I admire your love and warmth for
your family and your fans.
<jamsternumerouno> We did oldies I played the drums.
<Alice> I'm from south Florida...good friends with Pat and Larry...and we
love chatting about your during our lunch times together.
<Alice> Do you plan on coming to south Florida in the near future?
<jamsternumerouno> Hi alice I do love my family and I don't think you
have to ignore them from the stage
<jamsternumerouno> I love Pat and Larry they run a tight ship
<jamsternumerouno> I plan to be all over the u.s. by next year and yes
that means Florida,
<jamsternumerouno> I hear the press has been good to me there
<Alice> oh that's great...Pat and I went to see Buddy down in Davie last
March...so hoping to see you sometime soon!
<Alice> oh yes...it has been good. I think you will have a great turnout!

<Carolyn> Thanks jAm, Bette & Drema for tonight. jAm, a special
thanks for making Bette our FEARLESS jAm leader
<jamsternumerouno> but seriously at 10-12
<jamsternumerouno> i had no choice God picked her
<Carolyn> Will the songs on ON THE BORDER be re-released some
day for those of us without the CD?
<Bette> Thank you!
<jamsternumerouno> I have two options
<jamsternumerouno> buy out original partner
<jamsternumerouno> or re-record them seperately and still give him
publishing royalties
<Carolyn> LSN is fabulous. Any chance you are composing songs for
your next CD
<jamsternumerouno> I've been on a dry spell as I've had my go-out-and
promote it hat on
<jamsternumerouno> but i'm always brainstorming and jotting down
ideas
<Carolyn> Of course...we all are dying for a jAm video ... sure would
make great christmas gifts...not that far around the corner
<jamsternumerouno> i spoken with dualtone they are very conservative
fiscally
<Carolyn> LSN CDs are flying off the shelves here in Montgomery, Ala.
<jamsternumerouno> but they do realize it can be important
<Carolyn> All in due time...but we sure will be excited for one!
<jamsternumerouno> that's way cool carolyn; we'll have to make note
of that to nancy fly agency who books me
<Carolyn> well, I really don't have more questions...just want to chant
some more: jAm tour USA, jAm tour USA
<Carolyn> And if you don't make it back here...
<Carolyn> we all will head to Texas!
<jamsternumerouno> I will do that; if you ever have a serious lead in
your community email nancy at nfly@nflyagency.com
<Bette> O.K. Russ & Judy, you know the man. Do your thing!
<Carolyn> okay, Bette...give whatever time i have left to Russ and Judy
<jamsternumerouno> Hey Russ and Judy; how bout that steak I sent
back
<Russ and Judy> Thanks for chatting with us tonight!
<jamsternumerouno> por nada
<Russ and Judy> The time we spent with you and Yvonna In Nashville
was a highlight of our trip!
<Russ and Judy> Hope Your career SOARS with Nancy Fly!!
<jamsternumerouno> the time i spent with Yvonna was the highlight of
mine too
<jamsternumerouno> and you too
<Russ and Judy> lol!
<Russ and Judy> I'll bet!
<Russ and Judy> Where did you meet Yvonna?
<jamsternumerouno> it was crazy how we picked the same restaurant
<Russ and Judy> yep
<Russ and Judy> great minds
<jamsternumerouno> I met her while teaching her girl friend tennis
<Russ and Judy> Favorite Male & Female tennis players?
<jamsternumerouno> then again at a lounge a few weeks later
<jamsternumerouno> now it's roddick and either venus or the new
russian girl
<Russ and Judy> Do You and Yvonna have a special “Place” you go to
eat on Special occasions?
<jamsternumerouno> we have an abundance of great places in Marble
Falls
<Russ and Judy> If you record a duet with any of your Nashville star
friends…Who would it be?
<jamsternumerouno> We do love the place Bette sent us to in Nashville
the Wild Boar
<jamsternumerouno> 5 star
<jamsternumerouno> hola anybody there
<Russ and Judy> What is the best thing you cook?
<Bette> Here's Kathy! Go Girl ...
<Kathy> Thank you from me also, jAm. This is so exciting for this
Texan.
<jamsternumerouno> i do fajitas really well
<jamsternumerouno> hey Kat
<Bette> You have one question to answer of Russ & Judy
<Russ and Judy> Hope to see you in Southern New England soon!
<Bette> Nashville star friend to sing with?
<jamsternumerouno> I have many
<Kathy> Have you ever performed in Beaumont Tx?
<jamsternumerouno> no but i've done radio interviews there
<jamsternumerouno> it's a hotbed of talent there
<Kathy> Any possibility of being there any time soon?
<jamsternumerouno> I was so close recently as I played in Fort Polk
LA, my new agent understands that i need dates to and from the big
shows
<jamsternumerouno> i
<Kathy> Pour a Little Love On It is my favorite. Might it be released as a
single?
<jamsternumerouno> i'm planning another show at fort polk soon, pour
a little love could possible be sent to christian radio
<Kathy> I love the whole cd let me add.
<jamsternumerouno> thanks
<jamsternumerouno> pour is a little long for top fourty country
<Kathy> That one is so different. Where did you get the inspiration?
<jamsternumerouno> your not going to believe this
<Kathy> try me
<jamsternumerouno> my co-writer had an idea i didn't like; pour a little
beer on it
<Kathy> nope, don't like that
<jamsternumerouno> God took that and inspired me to change it to fit
how I felt spiritually
<Kathy> Well He did the right thing. I LOVE it
<Bette> DING! Now for Sandra, known to all as Gramma! You know her
jAm from the booth!
<jamsternumerouno> I imagined it all acapella
<Sandra> the ads in magazines list three singles from LSN which
should we request? isn't it more effective if we all request the same
single
<jamsternumerouno> Hey Abuelita i mean grandma
<Sandra> Hi jAm
<jamsternumerouno> I'm still focusing on Home Made of Stone until we
have a united new single from label
<jamsternumerouno> yes it's more effective
<Sandra> tell Nancy not to forget about all the Indian Casinos that have
country artist...we have them all over out here.
<jamsternumerouno> remind me about that bette
<Sandra> I wanted to thank you for letting us fans help out at the booth
during Fan Fair
<Sandra> Bette tells us she will need even more help next year
<jamsternumerouno> i should thank you!!
<jamsternumerouno> I hope so
<jamsternumerouno> i know were planning even more cool stuff
<jamsternumerouno> a brunch seems like a very cool idea
<Sandra> in case no one told you we are looking forward to a great big
fan get together next year....know any struggling country singer who
might we willing to entertain us??
<jamsternumerouno> I'll have Yvonna make some salsa and I'll see if
Prentiss will sing
<jamsternumerouno> ha
<Sandra> COOL!!! or maybe Jamis...
<Bette> Dong! Donna B. your turn to try to stump him. These questions
are GREAT!
<Donna B> Thank you so much for the wonderful music! It has helped
me deal with everything from traffic jams to patient's deaths.
<Sandra> whoops that was Jamie
<Donna B> Are there any songs you no longer perform.Any thing we
should avoid requesting
<jamsternumerouno> my sisters pull stuff out from years ago I don't
want to disown any of my creations
<Donna B> I love the jazzy, bluesy stuff you do. Any more of that in the
pipeline?
> .
<jamsternumerouno> Label mentioned Armadillo Song, but also
discussed latin flavored songs done at riverwalk
<Pat> I noticed you're playing with Prentiss soon. Any others on the
agenda?
<jamsternumerouno> southern illinois want me to do show with lance
miller; but now booked yet
<Pat> You mentioned Tasha valentine's beautiful voice. Any chance for
a duet with her
<jamsternumerouno> I'm also trying to get special guest for boys and
girls club benefit
<jamsternumerouno> I've lost touch with Tasha
<Pat> This one's for Larry. What are some of your favorite golf courses
in Texas?
<jamsternumerouno> I've tried to reach her a couple of times
<jamsternumerouno> I just played at best municipal course in Tex in
Burnet, Tx delaware springs
<jamsternumerouno> i also like Barton creek and horseshoe bay
<Bette> Last, except for Drema, but certainly not least, DIANE .. Go Girl!
<Pat> Everyone already askled the rest of my questions. Give our love
to yvonna
<jamsternumerouno> hey diane
<Diane> Hi jAm thanks for being the reason that we are part of this
wonderful jamily
<jamsternumerouno> will do
<Diane> Do you get nervous before going on stage?
<jamsternumerouno> everyone is so jamicable
<jamsternumerouno> yes every time
<Diane> I guess a little nerves are healthy?
<jamsternumerouno> if you want to do well you get a little nervous
<jamsternumerouno> yes they are in sports too
<Diane> Do you have a particular song that is a favorite to sing?
<jamsternumerouno> nerves almost got the best of my on NS when I
flubbed word sot next big thing
<jamsternumerouno> song I wrote: spinning our wheels, songs I didn't
write: when you say nothing at all
<Diane> nice choices
<jamsternumerouno> on album it depends on mood or setting, but
armadillo song is fun, LSN is pensive
<Diane> when you're putting a song together, do you ever think of a type
of dance that would be done with song?
<Diane> 2 step, cha cha waltz etc
<jamsternumerouno> lately i've enjoyed singing wasted days and
wasted nights
<jamsternumerouno> some times i do there is a newer dance in texas
called the double two step
<Diane> Donna B found dance steps for a waltz to LSN
<jamsternumerouno> the kids double the steps on the traditional 2 step
so you pick a song that medium paced
<Bette> I've been silent for over an hour??? How can this be? Now for
Drema!! Thanks for doing this girl.
<jamsternumerouno> LSN is a waltz even though the drummer plays
what is call half time
<jamsternumerouno> I love to waltz
<jamsternumerouno> Yvonna wishes we could dance more like when
we courted
<Bette> The waltz to LSN is a line dance in Autralia
<Bette> Go Drema!
> Well I have to say my Chatroom will always be blessed for having jAm
here in it
<jamsternumerouno> no kidding way to cool! I've got to see video tape
of this
<jamsternumerouno> Hey Drema!
<jamsternumerouno> great tool and resource
> Hey There jAm :)
> Last October you were in Indiana with Buddy Jewell
> Jamey was also there... that was a great show
<jamsternumerouno> yes, and Jamey
> I am so hoping that you are planning a return trip with Buddy this
October as well
<jamsternumerouno> i wish i knew then what I know about merch sales
<jamsternumerouno> it's not been book unfortunately
> and I jotted down Nancy's addy so I can send her the casino booking
page
> it would be great to have you there on your own venue
<jamsternumerouno> sorry had to answer call from daughters friend
> no problem
<jamsternumerouno> I know Nancy is working hard to book me I've
already gotten more gigs from her in one month
<jamsternumerouno> than William Morris could do in a year
> well hopefully we will see you soon here in the Ohio/Indiana area
<jamsternumerouno> Mark Roeder my former agent a William M is a
great guy but he could not give the attention I needed
<jamsternumerouno> amen
<jamsternumerouno> do you put chili on your spagetti too
> oh and do I get to stand on stage while u sing??? lol
<jamsternumerouno> my band wouldn't STAND for it
<jamsternumerouno> just kidding

I'll leave it up for awhile so everyone has a chance to copy it! Enjoyed reading it myself. Even though I was trying to read it all that night, I missed some things trying to keep the time and flow going!

Looking forward to this afternoon when I can come home and spend 3 days working around here, and seeing my Grandson. The kids are leaving Saturday morning for upstate NY for a 10 day vacation. They're going to Lake George and staying at a resort where they have everything including putt putt golf. That should be fun for Garrett! Wish I was going, but no time

Thanks for posting the chat Bette. I printed all 15 pages of it too. It'll have a special part in my jAm scrapbook.

Scrapbook :?: Sounds like a great idea. I haven't even started one, but know Yvonna has plans to do so :!: Time is our enemy sometimes, so all in good time ...

Glad you're all enjoying it ... Drema got a kick out of jAm saying he had no choice in making me President of his fan club, because God did it  Fortunately, I don't place blame, but if I did where would I go with that :?: jAm is slicker than I though

Hey! Bette- that was pretty slick! No where to go with that one!

My two favorites were the "re-joyce" comment when Joyce had her turn cut then was back.

Also the "Yvonna was the highlight...too" comment

both emphasised a pretty quick wit......I sure wouldn't want to go up against jAm in a debate or anything....

I promise, you wouldn't want to go up against him in a debate! He loves to pun also ... and he's quick with comebacks .. I try to keep up, but lose frequently

I think that's one reason I liked the "All Hat, No Cattle" song..lots of the wordplay in there.......one line talks about a guy just wanting"a roll in the hay" the next line says something about "he'll bail (BALE) on her" so the funny part is the hay with bale in the next line. And if I remember right, that wasn't the only one like that in the song. (and I only heard that song once) So you can listen to that song and laugh along with it on two levels. Not to mention it has the catchiest tune that just WON'T get out of your head. I heard it once weeks ago, thought it was a kind of a cute song, but I am humming it still. Even when I don't want to!
