Hi Everyone,
We're home.
Our day started out by getting up at 4 am Central time. We checked out of the hotel and then went for a nice breakfast across the street at the Waffle House. We returned our rental car and by 5:15 we were at the ticketing counter. When we entered the area we were told that our 7:30am flight was delayed and we would have to be re routed.
We waited in a very long line until close to 8 am. We were told that our flight would leave around 9:25am. Our connecting flight in Philly was to depart at 1:25 pm. Fortunately we would just make it. Our flight finally left Nashville at 9:50am, I believe, and we arrived in Philly at 12:45 eastern time. Of course our flight was leaving from concourse "F" and we arrived in "B". We got to the plane with 10 minutes to spare.= close call but we made it. Apparently there was bad weather in the Northeast yesterday and caused many delays out of Philly. Our morning flight arrived last night a couple of hours late. The crew has to have a certain amount of hours of down time and that wouldn't happen if we left on time.
There were several people who were still waiting from last evening. I guess we were lucky that we just had a couple of hours to wait.
Hopefully, Pat and Larry are just about home also. I think they had a 3 or 3:30pm flight.
I thought I'd post a few photos from the weekend.
